Bondi Beach & Surrounding Streets
A vibrant new lighting experience for one of Australia’s most iconic destinations.
Intellilights designed, supplied, installed and commissioned the Casambi/DMX RGB lighting system across Bondi Beach, creating dynamic lighting scenes that bring the streets and surrounding spaces to life.
Every element was carefully considered for Bondi’s unique environment, including custom-designed and locally fabricated brackets. The Casambi network provides remote access, automated scheduling and flexible control, bringing together thoughtful design and smart technology.
Cenotaph - Martin Place
Intellilights was honoured to deliver the lighting control for the Martin Place Cenotaph, one of Australia’s most significant war memorials. With Casambi and its geolocation timer, the system automatically tracks seasonal changes in sunset and sunrise, ensuring the monument is lit at the right time year-round. This smart-city-ready approach balances visual impact with long-term sustainability.
A meaningful project that pays quiet tribute, every day.
Oxford Street - Bondi Jn
Waverley Council’s streetscape operates with full automation, where Dynamic DALI RGBW lighting seamlessly adjusts through pre-set schedules. The system aligns with events, holidays, and special occasions, ensuring the street is always in sync with the moment. Smart-city-enabled controls optimize energy efficiency while creating an engaging, adaptive urban experience.
Spring Street - Bondi Jn
Spring Street's canopy is softly illuminated with precision, golden warm lights tuned down to 0.8% via DALI/Casambi, creating a low-glare, warm amber atmosphere. A subtle transformation that turns a public space into an inviting, human-centric environment, with lighting that’s efficient, elegant, emotionally resonant, and aligned with smart city principles.
In the making..
Royal Far West Luxury Apartments - Manly
Intellilights has been appointed to deliver the lighting control and home automation for 26 luxury apartments at Royal Far West in Manly.
The project will feature a fully integrated Casambi lighting system, designed and delivered to the highest standards of technology, functionality and reliability. Our scope includes the lighting control, automation, programming and commissioning, creating a seamless experience for residents across each apartment.
We are proud to be trusted with a project of this scale and quality, and look forward to bringing the Royal Far West development to life through thoughtful lighting technology and intelligent control.
M7-M12 Integration
Another large roadway upgrade now joining the Intellilights Casambi network. We’re bringing 120 Casambi/NEMA nodes and BEGA street lights along the M7–M12 corridor into a fully connected, sensor-driven lighting network. Using Casambi/DALI dimming, the system transitions naturally between day and night, responding to motion and activity to provide light only where and when it’s needed. The result is a cleaner, smarter, more efficient roadway lighting solution.
